2009 Movement of Youth Graduate Jharrison Gillespie received the MOY President's Award for his outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2008-2009 school year. Jharrison graduated from Hillside High School in 2009 in the top ten percent of his class. He is currently attending Wake Forest University on a scholarship. Here's a recent message from Jharrison:
"Hey Atrayus. Hope all is well. I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing great here at Wake Forest. I'm tired very often due to football and all the work in my classes. I still have high goals of being successful so keep a look out for me. Thank you for all the lessons and support you granted me through Movement of Youth. I appreciate it and you along with the mentors were great leaders and friends. Hope to see you soon and keep pushing young people to be better than good. It makes a difference."
